Silvia Health partners with sprintworks to power platform development

Manchester engineering firm sprintworks joins as technology partner as Silvia expands into private clinic care

Manchester, UK — May 2026

sprintworks, the Manchester-based digital engineering firm formerly known as BigByte Digital, has marked its rebrand with the announcement of a technology partnership with fellow Northern company Silvia Health — a healthtech platform providing structured pre-consultation assessment for more consistent menopause care in private clinics and primary practice.

The partnership is sprintworks' first major public win under its new identity, launched in April 2026 after four years operating as BigByte Digital. The rebrand reflects the firm's evolution into a security-first engineering partner for organisations building complex, high-stakes digital infrastructure — a direction that makes Silvia Health a natural fit.

Silvia Health is accelerating into the private menopause clinic market, where demand for structured, evidence-based consultation support is growing rapidly. The platform structures patient-reported information against NICE NG23 menopause guidance, organising symptoms, history and clinical context for clinician review before every consultation. All clinical judgement remains with the treating clinician. With private clinic partnerships in active development, the platform is also designed with future NHS deployment in mind.

sprintworks brings a sprint-based delivery model built to keep complex builds on time and on budget. Instead of the long-term, expensive contracts normally required by bigger digital transformation companies, sprintworks operates on rolling three-weekly engagements — giving customers flexibility throughout the project while reaping the benefits of a long-term technical partner. The firm will support the next phase of Silvia Health's platform development, with a shared commitment to privacy-by-design principles, data minimisation and secure architecture built for healthcare environments and in line with industry best practice.

Menopause care is growing fast but clinical consistency hasn't kept pace. Silvia exists to change that — and to do it at scale, the technology has to be built properly from the start. sprintworks brings the security-first engineering mindset and the governance understanding that a platform like this demands. Keeping that expertise in Manchester, as we move into our most important phase, feels right.

We changed our name to better reflect the company we are and the value we bring; sprintworks exists to quickly and safely build serious technology for people solving real problems. Silvia Health is doing exactly that. We're elated that our first major win under the new name is one that could genuinely change how millions of women experience menopause care — that's the kind of work that gets us out of bed in the morning.

The collaboration reinforces Greater Manchester's growing reputation as a hub for responsible health technology, combining clinical governance expertise and scalable digital engineering within the UK's health innovation ecosystem.
